BOYS BASKETBALL SKILLS PROGRAM

The Junior Cavaliers basketball program is a great opportunity to get your child involved in athletics, learn the game of basketball, develop new relationships and, most of all, have fun. The Jr. Cavs is a developmental league that provides the fundamentals of the game such as ball handling, passing, rebounding, shooting and defensive concepts. All kindergarten through second grade boys, regardless of skill level, are welcome to participate. We offer two different sessions for kids in K-2. Please read the descriptions below.

Sign-up Information:  

Jr Cavs - Introductory Level Program:  For all boys in Kindergarten and 1st Grade who want to start learning the fundamentals and skills needed to play the game. (If your son did not participate in the Jr Cavs program last year and this is his first exposure to basketball then please register for this program.)

Jr Cavs - Foundational Level Program: For all boys in 2nd Grade interested in basketball and want to continue learning the fundamentals and skills needed to play the game. Your son will establish the building blocks for overall basketball skills and learn competition and team skills by participating in 3 v 3 games in addition to developing the fundamentals and skills. (If your son is in 1st grade and participated in the Jr Cavs program last year, and/or exhibits the skills needed to start playing games, then this program would be a great fit for him.)
